We will be using a full color palette consisting of a total of eight colors. Emphasizing the abstract underlying shapes on which to build up the scene by painting shapes not objects, and enhancing the picture with a loaded brushstrokes of colors all the while maintaining the value structure.

Materials:

Acrylics or oils, on canvas size 9 x 12 or 11 x 14 or 12 x 16. I use the following colors: Transparent Oxide Red (you may use Burnt Sienna), Cad. Red Light, Yellow Ochre, Thalo Red Rose, (Grumbacher recommended), Hansa Yellow or Cad Yellow Light, Viridian Green, Kings Blue, (Cobalt Blue already Tinted), Ultramarine Blue. Titanium White for mixing.

I use Galkyd painting medium. I use brushes sizes 2 through 10 of flats. Paint Rags, and Odorless Mineral spirits.
